Most hammock sleepers naturally lie on a diagonal.
The Asym Underquilt uses that to your advantage.

By shaping the insulation to match a real diagonal lay, unnecessary fabric and fill are removed —
reducing weight and packed volume without sacrificing warmth where it matters most.

For comparison (167 gsm version):

Asym Underquilt — 520 g / 4.2 L

Who is this for?

This underquilt is ideal for experienced hammock users who consistently sleep in the same diagonal direction.

Because of its asymmetrical cut, it supports one lay direction at a time.
If you change direction, simply flip the quilt — it works for both left and right diagonal lay.

If you are new to hammock camping and still experimenting with your lay, the
ThermaClew regular underquilt may be a better starting point.

Layering Friendly Design

The reduced bulk and weight make the Asym Underquilt an excellent option for layering setups.

Use it alone in mild conditions, or combine it with another underquilt during colder trips.
Because insulation is concentrated only where needed, stacking becomes more efficient and less bulky than layering two full-size quilts.
