How the System Works
The system consists of:
- Tree straps – wide polyester webbing to protect tree bark and distribute load responsibly
- Whoopie slings – adjustable Dyneema® lines for precise length tuning
- Soft shackles – lightweight textile connectors replacing metal carabiners
Adjustment is smooth and continuous, allowing millimeter-level tension control.

Wide Adjustment Range
The whoopie sling system provides an extended adjustment range compared to fixed-length suspensions.
- Allows hanging between trees up to approximately 8–9 meters apart (depending on tree diameter and strap configuration)
- Minimum distance can be reduced by wrapping the tree strap multiple times around the trunk
- Fine length tuning via adjustable bury section
This wide range makes it easier to find suitable anchor points in uneven terrain or sparse forests.
